Find pages ranking 11–20 with high impressions
Pages on page 2 with real demand. Small CTR/position improvements here move more traffic than anything else.
The prompt
Copy this and paste it into Claude, Cursor, or any AI client connected to your GenieSeo MCP URL.
For my main Search Console property, find pages that currently average position 11–20 with at least 1,000 impressions in the last 28 days. Sort by total impressions descending, return up to 30 pages.
For each page:
1. URL, average position, total impressions, current CTR.
2. Top 3 queries it ranks for, with each query's impressions and position.
3. From my top-ranking pages (positions 1–5), find one whose ranking queries are semantically closest to this page's queries — that's the best candidate to add an internal link from.
Output as a Markdown table with the linking candidate in the last column. When to use it
When you have content-edit hours to spend and want the best ROI. Page 2 → page 1 is the highest-leverage move in SEO.
What you get back
- Ranked list of pages currently averaging position 11–20 with at least 1,000 impressions in the last 28 days.
- Top 3 queries each page ranks for, with impressions and current position.
- Closest internal-link candidate (a page on the same site already ranking #1–5 for an adjacent query).
